Delete your account
Yana — pharmacy companion app, built in New Zealand by Yana.
Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open the Yana app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to the Data Privacy section.
- Tap Delete Account, then confirm with Yes, delete permanently.
Your account and data are removed immediately. This cannot be undone.
No longer have the app installed?
Email yana.team.co@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll remove it within 24 hours.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name and email
- All medications and dose / PRN history
- Daily check-ins, mood and journal notes
- Vitals and vital reminders
- Your Health Tree progress — streak, vitality, growth
- Care Circle links, invites and nudges
- Saved care-team places
- Notification settings and push registrations
- Pharmacy sharing consent, prescription requests and blister-pack schedules linked to your account
- Your sign-in itself
What we keep, and for how long
- Anonymised crash diagnostics, with personal details already stripped out before they're stored — kept for up to 90 days, then automatically purged.
- If you were connected with a pharmacy, they keep their own dispensing and audit records of your prescriptions, separately from your Yana account, as pharmacies normally do.
